Kunshan Terminal, which was planned by the Management Committee of Kunshan Development Zone, Shanghai International Airport Co., Ltd and China Eastern Airlines, became operational on Thursday as the remote terminal for Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

It covers an area of 2,000 square meters and now offers air ticket sales, boarding check services, shuttle bus services, among others.

As a burgeoning new development zone, Kunshan attracts investments from abroad and China's Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions.
