Hong Kong director Peter Chan's "Wu Xia," is hot on their heels with 12 nominations.

Actors Nicholas Tse and Lau Ching-Wan were in attendance to announce the nominees.

Ching-Wan was nominated twice in the "Best Actor" category for his performances in "Life Without Principle" and "Overheard 2."

He says he's happy to be recognized for two different performances. 銆€

"I'm not going to think about which film I would like to win this category with. I鈥檓 not going to think too much about it. It's happened before where I've been nominated for 2 different films. I'm happy with one nomination, with 2 nominations, it's double the happiness. So I'm not going to spend time thinking about which film I'm going to win for," said Ching-Wan.

The winners will be revealed on Sunday April 15th.
