Photo taken on June 19, 2012 shows a rock painting showing the hunting scene at Mandela Mountain in Alashan Gobi area of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In depth of the Alxa Gobi area, these around 4,000 pieces of rock paintings depicting nature environment, human daily lives, hunting, and religious rituals so on and so forth are dated from 5,000 to 1,000 years ago. So called as the library carved on rocks, Mandela mountains' rock paintings bear significance contributing to researches on environment, climate, animals' habitats and religions of the ancient time.
