When I try to uninstall a program in Windows 8, I get the following error message:

"Another program is being installed.  Please wait until after the installation is complete, then try installing this software again."

I got this message when I logged on this morning, but wasn't installing any software.  I'm getting is now 9 hours later and still no software being installed.

Can somebody tell me what I need to do in order to get my PC from thinking someone is trying to install software?
