Re: Owners/Members unable to search for files Post SharePoint Online migration
Hi, Did you ever find any more information about these Indices? I have recently had issues with the Viva Learning Content Libraries being dropped from the Viva Learning App via SharePoint Content Provider. Since these columns are not visible in the Library Settings, I am wondering if it is safe to delete them and then add my own Index Columns. The Viva Learning had been working fine for a couple of years and then suddenly all SP Content disappeared. All the Content was actually there but the Links that were in the Repository List configured in the Learning Admin Portal stopped working. The links were valid, but the App would not ingest them. I created another Repository Item that was a link to an existing Library was created and the App ingested it fine.New Files / OneDrive App Experience
So it seems that the new Files App announced in MC687207 has been pushed to my New Teams Desktop App. I have a question about a "null" Folder that is appearing in the view above the "Our Files" icon. When I click on it nothing happens. When I right click on it, nothing happens. I think that it is supposed to show the files that are on my OneDrive. Anyone have any ideas on either how to fix it or remove the "null"? Thanks!Re: Now in Public Preview & Targeted release: Teams Discover Feed
Yes, the options are there this morning and many more Posts now in the "Discover". Most of the Posts are more than 3 days old. If I keep hiding them will the AI or Algorithm start to Learn what I think is worth reading or does it decide on it's own and I have to live with, or ignore? Just showed up in my Teams Nav bar and I spent a while trying to find documentation and stumbled across this Blog post. I tried to adjust my settings using the Gear in the Discover Feed and it gave me an error message. "No user preferences found" I also tried using the ellipsis at the Author Post in the Team and there is no option as described in your bullet #3 I haven't subscribed to any notices from this Team so not sure how Analytics decided to push to my Feed. How long does it take for the Graph API or the other AI you are using to expose preferences for me to adjust? If that is not an option, how can I disable "Discover" without removing myself from the Preview Features? Being in IT for my Org means I have to stay ahead of these things before users start asking questions. Thanks!Is Purview Audit Search included with Microsoft 365 Business Premium?
I am in organization that has mostly Microsoft 365 Business Premium and E1 licenses. My Admin account is not allocated any subscription and only used for elevated access. My daily account has the Business Premium subscription. I can currently access Purview via my Admin account but recent notice indicates I may need E5 to access Purview when they shut down the Classic Audit Search Portal. The MS Docs link to a PDF that only shows Enterprise Plans. Does anyone have documentation that indicates if Tenant / Global Admin will need E5 subscription or if the New Purview Audit Search will be included with the Microsoft 365 Business Premium? UPDATE- Oct, 24 Not looking good. Found this on MS Learn Prerequisites Pricing and the most troubling is this outright Answer . Although not sure to take this as truth since it is from April 2023 and the changes to Purview were just recently announced. Anyone have any further documentation or End User Instructions on how Personal Plans as mentioned in MC677519 — Personal Plans in Planner will work? The MS Documentation site and Graph API beta is still not showing any reference to how a regular end user will create their own Personal Plans. Without UI and relying on Graph API for regular folk is going to be a struggle for most. This sounds similar to what we are experiencing with Teams Desktop Classic as I posted here . The New Teams Desktop doesn't have the same problem and neither does the Teams Web. We also found that if you hold the CTRL key when clicking the link works by launching a sub window and also opens a new Browser to the SP page.Cannot Remove "Document Library" tab
Hello all, was just notified of an issue when an Owner of a Team could not Remove a tab from a Team. These tabs have been in place for a long time. The tab is the Microsoft "Document Library" type. We both also tried in web version of Teams and we still do not get an option to "Remove". Our only choices are Expand, Reload, Copy Link to tab and , About this tab. If we choose about the image icon is broken graphic. I even added a new Document Library to a channel in one of our test Teams and now I cannot remove it. There are no Health or Service Incident notices posted in any of the Administrator Portals. Hi , did you ever figure this out? I have urgent need to remove or modify that statement as well. I did find in the Publishing section where another text statement is shown but this seems to be part of a setting I cannot find. Here is a clip from the MS doc But that is not what appears on our page. We need to be able to modify the part circled in yellow highlighter. I did page inspect page and found that the content is held in bookingform, footerSection. Now to find how to change those page objects if possible. Aster a little more work I discovered the text is controlled by the Business Information section. Specifically, the Privacy Policy URL It does not seem to accept spaces or other codes to erase the value and will Default to the canned text and [NAME OF CALENDAR] inserted.
